Procurement Review

GPCL has been active in conducting several Procurement Reviews of projects in World Bank’s India portfolio. Notable assignments undertaken, after selection through competitive processes, are outlined below:   

• Procurement and Financial Audit of statement of expenditure of over 50 projects across various States in India for a period of two years involving review of over 1800 contracts spanning various sectors of the economy. 

• Procurement Post Review of 21 projects across seven North Eastern States of India involving review of over 200 contracts. 

• Procurement Post Review of 33 projects across nine States of India involving review of over 560 

contracts covering sectors such as Education, Health, Infrastructure, Water Resources, etc. 

• Procurement Post Review of 25 projects across various states in India involving review of nearly 

850 contracts for the 2009 and 30 projects involving review of over 1800 contracts for 2010 covering multiple sectors. 

• Procurement Post Review of 24 projects across various states in India involving review of nearly 

1215 contracts for the 2011 and 24 projects involving review of over 1600 contracts for 2012 for multiple sectors. 

• Procurement Post Review of 31 projects across numerous States in India involving review of nearly 1700 contracts for the 2013 and 41 projects involving review of over 2400 contracts for 2014 for multiple sectors. 

• Procurement Post Review of 23 projects across numerous States in India involving review of nearly 1570 contracts for the 2015 and 26 projects involving review of over 1002 contracts for 2016 for multiple sectors. 

• Procurement Post Review of the Elementary Education Project (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Project) involving review of 125 contracts in four Indian States. 

• Independent Procurement Review of two Community Driven Development projects focused on participatory community development involving review of close to 70 contracts. 

• Independent Procurement Review of six projects related to Water Supply and Sanitation, Irrigation and Infrastructure sectors involving review of over 100 contracts. 

Procurement and Financial Management Review of one project each in the States of Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu in India.
